post by frangible photo from IMDB Paul Blart Mall Cop This movie was SO adorable. and funny. I’ll come back and write a little more about it later…but for now, here’s my favorite quote: Veck Sims: When are you gonna give up, Blart? Paul Blart: How about now? I’ll meet you on the corner of “NE” and “VER”!

So I saw Bill Maher's "Religulous" documentary...
wikirocks: …and I am on the fence about it. I know I am kinda late on this. And for those that had already seen it, excuse me, lol. I heard about it not too long ago and never got around to going to see it, but… I am personally an individualist, though I am not a relativist. I believe that while there are objective truths, you should allow (being the key word) people to believe what they want...

"Smokey & The Bandit" Has No Monkeys In It
I was watching Smokey & the Bandit with the sound off. I recommend watchng it that way. As far as I can figure out, they like to drive in the movie and talk a lot. (Though I can’t hear what they are saying, which is probably for the best) I think they are running moonshine in a semi and Burt Reynolds is running interference and doing a fuck awful job of it. But he seems to be having fun....

WatchWatch
David Lynch: Lumiere et compagnie This is David Lynch’s 55 second short filmed with an original Lumiere camera. 40 international directors were asked to make a short film using the original Cinematographe invented by the Lumière Brothers, working under conditions similar to those of 1895. There were three rules: (1) The film could be no longer than 52 seconds, (2) no synchronized sound was...

Size Matters
I watched Christmas on Mars (by the Flaming Lips) recently but I didn’t want to discuss the movie so much as the format in which I watched it. I downloaded it from itunes and watched it on my laptop. I’m of mixed opinion on watching movies from a computer screen as opposed to a television screen. It’s not better or worse. It’s just different. Traveling as I do for work,...
